| Had a great time 2nd visit managed to fish this time lake frozen last visit (dec 2009)lots of carp and tench caught majority about 1 1/2lb.Managed to get a fair few of the bigger fish by enticing them from the front of the lodge.Suggest taking light gear for more fun with the large number of smaller fish (2 3/4 carp rods a bit over the top).thanks to Richard and Elaine for a great time.We will definitely be back

3rd time for us (chris and Alex) at Valley View, the location is as wonderful as ever lots of improvements including the additional decking and the fishing swims.
Loved the hot tub and the lakes being so close - caught some great fish (including trout) nothing of any great size but they all fight well and are in great condition.
Great facilities, everything you need is here, you dont even need to leave the lodge once you have been shopping - and you wont want to leave at the end of your stay.
Mark and Michelles first vist here - again they absolutley loved it and like us will be back again in the near future.
Thanks to Richard and Elaine for being hospitable and considerate with the work they are carrying out (thanks for the wine/milk etc too!)
Great time had by all and looking forward to the next visit already.

| Had a wonderful short break after Christmas 2009.Lake was frozen solid,not good when i went to fish,But still a great break wonderful lodge.Booked to go again in may.Will report on fishing after that visit.

| Many, many thanks to Richard & Elaine for a wonderful lodge and a warm welcome. The wine and milk was perfect after a long school holiday journey. The fishing has kept the boys occupied from dawn to dusk and beyond, A truly wonderful location in which to wind down, total relaxation. Hot tub is just bliss after a day out. We will definately be back. Coach & Horses is very good but service can be slow if busy. Booking recommended!

| Well we are packed, only leaving because we have to! Richard & Elaine have really thought of everything, we were so surprised & pleased. Found our slice of Heaven, we are all well relaxed & chilled out!! Loved the cabin and whole holiday, thanks a bunch, Victoria. Loved the luxury of our own private hot-tub, a comfy bed. too much to mention, just love the place, fishing, ducks & cats. See you next year.

| What a wonderful relaxing break- just what we both needed! Lodge was very well equipped, hottub amazing, especially at night, watching the sun go down! I caught my first ever fish (well 4 actually) after watching Ben and then giving it a go would recommend it! If you go to Widemouth Bay, we watched the most beautiful sunset there! Thank you for such a lovely, tranquil place.

| A very enjoyable week, location & tranquilty wonderful. Lodge and equipment excellent, fishing good too. Thank you Elaine & Richard for the nice welcome and wine. Will be leaving here with mind, body & soul refreshed. Loved the wildlife, feeding the ducks, cats and huge carp. Good luck with the new lodges & improvements- hope to return soon.

| Lovle accommodation, very peaceful & relaxing. Hottub was a real hit!My Birthday present was a much appreciated gift, Thank you. Caught lots of fish but not "great big ones" The accommodation was very clean and modern. Arron caught 52 fish in 1 day and over 100 all week! Hottub was lovely and Trout was very yummy! by Zoe

| Our first but definitely NOT our last visit!! Very relaxing 2 weeks. Fishing was excellent, Connor caught a 6 1/2lb carp on the last day- his biggest fish ever. Andy caught the golden Orfe twice- Happy Days! Hot-tub was lovely spent many hours in there. Fed the cats- it was never enough! Richard and Elaine were very freindly and helpful.See you soon.
