We found Valley View by chance and booked about 10 days beforehand. What a find. 😁 The Lodge was spotless and had everything you could possibly need including fly screens on all the windows and front door. On waking the first morning all I could hear was the trickling of the stream and birdsong, so beautifully quiet. Fishing was fabulous despite the ‘Monster’ snapping Franks pole, we had an amazing time, fishing by day and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening, the only thing I regret is not taking binoculars to watch the birds, I missed the Kingfisher but watched a pair of woodpeckers from the hot tub one evening. The grounds were lovely and well kept and Richard and Fiona were amazing and informative hosts, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this beautiful settting, we will certainly return another time, and will not hesitate to recommend .
