This is such a special place! Total peace with lots of wildlife. The fishing has been great - the smaller lake was kinder to us and we caught some good sized carp. Watching the stars at night with no light pollution was a highlight. We fell in love with Appledore and Westward Ho! The local pub the Coach and Horses does lovely food. I would also recommend The Pier House in Westward Ho! for an amazing view and sunset and the food is good too. Mallard Lodge had everything we could have wanted/needed. Thank you to Richard, Elaine and Fiona for the chats and looking after us.
